A guest of honor

Happy Oh-Nine! To start the new year off on the right foot, I’ll be guest editing at Coudal this month. Besides being one heck of a timely and entertaining website, Coudal is the massive undertaker of creative endeavors who you’ll recognize from such hits as the incredible handmade-handoff experiment Swap Meat and my current note-taking method Field Notes (pictured above, with stains that are, I believe, carne asada taco grease). At Coudal’s request I’ve also provided commentary for the annual triumph of the stylus, Layer Tennis, and read a Charles Bukowski book in Hollywood for their biennial Field-Tested Books. So, yeah, you could call me a fan. But this month, call me Guest Editor!

So here’s where you come in…I’ll be adding links to Fresh Signals (that’s the middle column there; my posts are tagged alw) until January 31. If you come across some link-worthy posts, do let me know.

Thanks to my former UnBeige editor Steve Delahoyde (who also works at Coudal) for inviting me on board. It’ll be just like the old days again!
