Pumpkin gingersnap gelato and chocolate orange sorbetto

Indian summer

103 degrees on September 26. Funny how the seasons haven’t lined up like they were supposed to this year. We spent all “summer” waiting for summer to arrive, and then it was fall. Now it looks like fall, and tastes like fall, but feels like summer. Don’t let the Halloween color palette fool you. Today is easily the hottest day of the year. How do you know it’s hot? We’re sitting inside. Where the air conditioning is.

Where to find this (but hopefully none of that heat)? Visit Gelatobaby’s GeLAtomap!

Update: I would also like to say that on the next day, September 27, by noon, we had broken the record for hottest day in Los Angeles history. 113 degrees. In fall.
