It wouldn’t be Halloween without an annual viewing of my favorite scary movie, The Dos and Don’ts of Halloween Trick or Treating. There’s no IMDB entry for it, and you might not recognize the stars, but I assure you, you definitely know the director. Who is also the cinematographer. And the writer. And the cameraman. The film was shot on an extremely tight budget, on-location in suburban St. Louis in 1989, and features memorable pop culture phrases like “I guess now they’re beer nuts,” “They’ve got really good pumpkins,” and “You turtles like Starburst?”
Anyway, stay safe out there, I hear they’re now lacing Halloween candy with marijuana. Now that’s a creative way to promote Proposition 19!
